GreenPulse Garden Club is a joyful, hands-on gardening program for children from Grade R to Grade 12. We bring permaculture-based learning to schools, homes, and venues — helping kids discover how to grow food, care for the earth, and work together.
Our Garden Club runs as an extra-mural program during or after school hours. We work with learners from Grade R to Grade 12 to plant, grow, and harvest in real garden spaces.
Children explore topics like:
-
How plants grow and what they need
-
How soil, compost, and worms support life
-
Why bees, bugs, and biodiversity matter
-
How to create systems that care for people and planet

Sessions are fun, sensory, and creative — and always rooted in permaculture ethics. We focus on real skills, real dirt, and real joy.

WHAT PARENTS ARE SAYING:

"George has been part of Jenna’s Garden Club since it began at The Ridge, and it’s his favourite extra-curricular activity. He’s learned how to sow seeds, harvest vegetables, make compost, and much more — all under Jenna’s warm guidance. Living in the city, it’s been so enriching for him to get his hands dirty and connect with nature."
– Sara Needham, parent at The Ridge School

“Frederick has loved Garden Club from day one. He’s happiest when watering plants, digging in the soil, and running around outside. He never wants to miss a session and always comes home excited to share what he’s learned.”
– Frances Edwards, parent at The Ridge School
